The Ivy Kitchen & Bar — Water Mill, NY

Ivy Kitchen & Bar has been one of Long Island's most recognized restaurant brands for years. When they expanded into Water Mill with a new pop-up location in the Hamptons, the space had to perform at the level of the market it was entering. WiredUP designed and installed a complete audio and network infrastructure from the ground up.

THE SYSTEM

The audio system is built around JBL Control 25-1 surface-mount speakers throughout the interior and exterior, running in 70-volt. The Control 25-1 was selected for its controlled dispersion pattern, the right choice for a space with exposed wood beams, irregular geometry, and a room character worth preserving. A single JBL ASB6115 subwoofer delivers incredible amounts of low-end reinforcement inside without being overwhelming, muddy or intimidating. The all-new Crown CTD series amplifiers handle amplification for all of the JBL loudspeakers, allowing us to run them with the appropriate FIR filter. An AtlasIED Atmosphere AZM8 manages all zone and source control.

Outdoors, Control 25-1 speakers are mounted on permanent black steel pole mounts across the patio — built to blend in to their surroundings.

The network infrastructure runs entirely on UniFi, featuring G6 security cameras, wireless access points, and a UDM-Pro at the core. The UDM-Pro is the backbone of WiredUP's remote network support — giving our engineers the ability to monitor, adjust, and service every parameter of the system remotely.

The location opened on Memorial Day Weekend 2026. Ian Asher and BONNIE X CLYDE performed on the system within the first week. The client's reaction on first listen said everything, sheer disbelief of the overall volume and tonal quality, especially for the size.

That's how we build the spaces people never forget.
