WHERE IT ALL STARTED…
The WiredUP Company History
The Birth of a Company
In September of 2013, an awkward middle-school student was told by his teachers that he needed to find an extracurricular activity. “Nothing interests me. One day, I’m want to be on a main-stage at a show, as the headliner DJ!”. But things quickly changed when he was offered the position of “Sound Board Operator” for the schools annual Musical. That was the day that everything changed.
Two years later, in September of 2015, Dennison DeNatalie and Arturo Fernandez founded Hi5 Productions. Built on the ideology of providing a one-stop-shop for everything entertainment.
April of 2021 was the turning point for the brand - when it was renamed, and WiredUP Designs was born. A new name to better fit the goals, ideas and mission statement of the brand that the founders had envisioned.
It was at the same time that Fernandez stepped down, and Anthony Foley became the new face of WiredUP, alongside existing partner, DeNatalie.
The WiredUP brand continued to thrive and grow consistently. DeNatalie and Foley soon recognized the need for a space to conduct business, as DeNatalie’s grandfather’s basement was no longer an adequate working environment to aid in the expansion of the company.
After nearly a year of shopping around and looking for a location, the co-founders found 1589 Lakeland Avenue in late 2022.
Though, all good things must come to an end. WiredUP soon moved out of 1589, into our new, state-of-the-art facility at 920 Lincoln Avenue, where we plan to stay and build out for years to come. The facility perfectly accommodates the growth and expansion of the company, and allows us to keep hundreds of professional audio and lighting items in stock.
Today, WiredUP continues to expand on our rental fleet of items, constantly finds new and better methods of system installations and integration, and provides top-notch customer support to the folks that trust us, job after job, to satisfy their needs.
April 13th of 2026 will mark the 5-year anniversary of WiredUP Designs, which seems like quite a while away. But since the beginning, our goal has been to be in more than one state by the time we turn 5.
