BUILT RIGHT, BUILT RESPONSIBLY.

LED LIGHTING INSTALLATION

At WiredUP, we believe world-class AV integration and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. From the systems we specify to the way we install them, we're committed to leaving every space — and the planet — better than we found it. Sustainable AV Integration is the name of our game.

SEE THE STARS AGAIN.

Artificial light is one of the most overlooked forms of environmental pollution. Poorly specified display technology, improperly aimed signage, and inefficient lighting systems contribute to skyglow, disrupt natural ecosystems, and interfere with human circadian rhythms — all without most people ever realizing it.

At WiredUP, every display and lighting recommendation we make considers more than brightness and color accuracy. We evaluate ambient light rejection, spectral output, and scheduling capabilities to ensure systems are never working harder — or shining brighter — than they need to. We specify commercial-grade displays with automatic luminance adjustment and design control systems that dim or power down during off-hours, eliminating unnecessary light output around the clock.

Whether it's a hotel lobby, a conference room, or a retail storefront, our goal is the same: light that serves the space and respects what's outside it.

OUR PRACTICE

Focused, purpose driven lighting fixtures and placement.

Scheduled power-down during unoccupied hours.

Pre-installation acoustic modeling for every project.

KEEP BASS IN ITS PLACE. (AND HIGHS TOO!)

Sound is powerful — and when it escapes where it isn't intended, it becomes a nuisance, a health risk, and a neighborhood problem. From mechanical equipment hum to improperly zoned speaker systems, audio pollution is a real consequence of careless AV design.

Our approach starts with acoustic intelligence. We model sound coverage zones before a single speaker is hung, ensuring audio reaches the intended audience without bleeding into adjacent spaces, neighboring units, or the outdoors. We select equipment with appropriate SPL output for the environment — not simply the loudest option — and design amplification systems with proper gain structure to prevent unnecessary noise floors.

For live events, we're equally deliberate. Our production team uses directional speaker arrays, line arrays, and cardioid subwoofer configurations to focus energy toward the audience and away from surrounding areas. We monitor output levels throughout every event and work proactively with venue teams to stay within sound ordinance requirements.

Good audio isn't just about what the audience hears. It's about what the rest of the world doesn't.

OUR BROADER COMMITMENT

Light and sound are two of the most direct environmental impacts of commercial AV — but our commitment to sustainability doesn't stop there. We design systems built to last, reducing the waste cycle that comes with cheap, disposable technology. We prioritize manufacturers with responsible supply chains, energy-efficient product lines, and extended product support.

On the installation side, we plan cable runs and infrastructure thoughtfully to minimize material waste, and we properly dispose of or recycle replaced equipment rather than adding it to landfill. As we expand nationally — from our Long Island roots to the Mountain West and the Carolinas — we carry this standard of practice with us into every new market.

We're not a large corporation with a sustainability report. We're a team that takes pride in doing the work right — and we believe that includes being good stewards of the spaces, communities, and environment we operate in. Now that’s sustainable AV integration.

Our commitment, in short…

Every project we take on — permanent installation or live event — is designed with the intention of using exactly what the space needs, and no more. That's good engineering. That's good business. And it's the right thing to do.
