TOWN OF ISLIP ANNEX THEATRE

Lights, Camera, Action… almost. Located in Islip, NY, the Town Of Islip Government operates the Annex Theatre, which is located on the first floor of Town Hall West. When deciding to renovate the theatre in early 2024, WiredUP was brought onboard to design a sound and stage lighting system to operate alongside a pre-designed video system. Working with Farmingdale based video company Adwar Video, WiredUP integrated a state-of-the-art PA system consisting of QSC speakers and subwoofers. WiredUP also installed all LED Elation stage lighting to reduce on stage temperatures and remain within the requested electrical constraints.

The PA system integrates with the venues already-specified Crestron system. That way, the entire system operates as one. Lighting is controlled via the SpringTree Media 8-button preset controllers, with 3 total in the daisy-chain. However, at any moment, a lighting console may be plugged in and used with the system.
